This activity is to teach students to read artwork. Steps: View the artwork and look at it to determine it's properties. Write about the artwork. Spelling isn't a consideration. They are to write the words the way the words sound to them. Discuss thoughts about the artwork. Any thoughts are acceptable. Draw a picture that was inspired by the artwork and this process. Sources
